Where do I change the cost basis method?
Open the organization menu at the top of the sidebar, select Organization settings, then pick a method in Cost basis method. You need Full access. See Cost basis methods.
What is the difference between saving a report and closing a period?
Saving stores a copy of the figures under a name. Closing locks the days of a period, so imports skip them and edits ask first. See Close a period.
Can I undo a close?
Yes, with full access to the organization. Open Close period again and select Reopen. Nothing in the ledger changed when you closed, so nothing changes when you reopen.

Why can I not change anything?
You have Read only access to this organization. A banner at the top of every page says so. Ask an owner or an admin of your team for Read and edit access.
Can I use Claude, ChatGPT or another AI with my books?
Yes. A person with Full access turns it on in Organization settings, in the tab AI clients (MCP). Then each person connects their own AI client with the address of the organization. See Connect an AI client (MCP).
Where do I invite a colleague?
At accounts.conta.finance, on the page of your team. Open it from the organization menu with Team and organizations.
