What Conta Finance reads from Binance
The parts of a Binance account that Conta Finance reads, the parts it does not read, and why an old account can show a difference that no new import closes.

Binance has no single history of an accountA wallet or an exchange account your organization controls.. It keeps one list for each of its products, and it stops giving the old rows of some of them. Conta Finance reads the lists below. A balance change that is in none of them has no movementOne asset going into or out of one of your accounts. A commission that Binance takes in BNB is an exchange fee of its own in the transaction of the trade. A commission in one of the two currencies of the trade is inside the amount of that currency.
What the balance includes
The balance of the account is the sum of three wallets of Binance: Spot, Funding and Simple Earn. A transfer between those three changes nothing in your books.
Margin, Futures and Options are not in the balance.
What Conta Finance does not read
- Purchases and sales with a card.
- P2P trades.
- Binance Pay.
- The rewards of Simple Earn and of staking that Binance adds to a position.
- Referral kickbacks: the part of each commission that Binance gives back to an account opened with a referral code.
- Loans and gift cards.
- Margin, Futures and Options.

History that Binance no longer gives
Binance stops giving the old rows of some lists, and it gives nothing for a product that it closed. On an old account this is the usual cause of a difference:
- Operations of a product that Binance closed, for example its swaps of 2022.
- Distributions older than about three years and a half.
- Referral kickbacks of past years.
Conta Finance cannot read these again. The full record is the statement that you export from the Binance website.
The first import and the later updates
Binance gives trades for one market at a time, and it lists more than 3 000 markets. The first import asks each market, so it takes about 20 minutes for any account, also for an empty one.
After that, Conta Finance checks the account every few minutes. It reads the deposits, the withdrawals and the other lists again. It asks only the markets of the currencies whose balance changed.
One case is not read by these updates: you buy a currency that the account never held and you sell all of it again in a few minutes. The currency that paid for it then shows a difference. To read the two trades, open the page of the account and select Rescan history.
When a balance does not match
- Open Reconciliation and find the currency.
- Compare its movements with the statement of the account on the Binance website.
- If a recent trade is missing, select Rescan history on the page of the account.
- If the cause is history that Binance no longer gives, or a product that Conta Finance does not read, correct the balance. See Fix a balance mismatch.
